Lindsay Chartier, director

Montreal City Voices has been under the direction of Lindsay Chartier since December 2004. Lindsay first joined the Harmony, Inc. and the Montreal Chapter in 1996, taking a break in 2001 when she moved out of the country. While she was a member, she served the chorus in many aspects. She has been section leader, assistant director, part of the choreography team and Music Chairperson.

Lindsay has also been involved in many quartets throughout her membership with Harmony, Inc., including the current 2nd place International medalist Ringtones! as well as Blue Champagne, 1998 Harmony Queens and After Hours, 2000 Harmony Queens.

Lindsay currently holds dual membership with Harmony, Inc. and Sweet Adelines International. She is currently serving her 2nd term as the Chairman of the Association of Harmony Queens (Harmony, Inc. International Quartet Champions).

When she can, Lindsay loves to coach both choruses and quartets, and has taught at the Great Northern Harmony Workshop, Harmony, Inc.'s Area 2 ABC Day & Area 2 Contest and Convention.

On the professional side of the house, Lindsay has her degree in Recreation and Leisure. She is currently employed at The Arthritis Society's Quebec Division as the Joints in Motion Program Coordinator.

On the personal life side of the house, she no longer single. And therefore, not looking... :-)
